Clan Cancer Support

On Wednesday night Clan Cancer Support Local Corridator Fay Copland will be setting up a table in the hall just to give us information about the services they are now providing at the Hotspot in Peterhead. CLAN Cancer Support is an independent charity providing support to anyone of any age in the North East of Scotland, Orkney and Shetland who has been affected by any kind of cancer. CLAN offers emotional support, one-to-one counselling, information, complementary therapies, group activities, support for children and families and B&B accommodation for people visiting Aberdeen hospitals for treatment or accompanying those receiving treatment. In addition to our centres in Aberdeen and Peterhead we also have a presence in Ballater, Inverurie, Stonehaven, Orkney and Shetland. This means that their clients can access a range of therapies, support groups, activities and one-to-one support locally. CLAN in Peterhead is open Monday and Wednesday 10 am – 4 pm. Local coordinator, Faye Copland is there at Hotspot to listen and provide information as well as make bookings for complementary therapies. c/o The Hotspot, Peterhead – tel: 01779 871450 www.clanhouse.org
