We always try and promote our members especially when they are trying a new venture. Elissa Stephen a Qualified Beauty Therapist has set up a new business Beauty by Elissa working from home. Elissa is offering an extensive range of services including Massage (15% off to Peterhead Jogscotland members), Facials, Waxing,Eyelash/Brow Tinting, Manicure/Pedicures, Trendy Nail Wraps etc etc. I lately went for a back and neck massage and i can highly recommend it. Peterhead Jogscotland Pilates

Really looking forward to our new pilates class that starts at the Rescue Hall on Friday from 6.30pm (start) to 7.30pm. This is a new exciting venture for the club , cost is only £2. Instructor is Suzie Crane who is well known throughout the town. The pilates will be specially aim at joggers and will help to strenghten our core muscles and will help injury in the future. If your like me and never given pilates ago before, please come along and try it on Friday night. Teas and coffees will be served afterwards.

Jogscotland Awards

We are really thrilled to be nominated along with 2 other clubs for the Jogscotland Community Group of the Year Award. Also to have 2 of our members up for the Achiever of the Year Robert Sinclair and Stuart Robertson is just fantastic. When you think their are over 300 clubs, and 1000s of members in Scotland its a real honour. The Awards will be presented at Scottish Athletics Award night in Glasgow on Saturday, whatever happens its fantastic just to be nominated. Fund Raising

ALthough it was never our main aim, our club and its members continues to raise fantastic amounts for charity. This year so far the club has raised and distributed over £6000 which amazing. Thats without what individual members have raised. In November we have 2 events the Glow in the Dark Fun Run in aid Junior Diabetes Research Foundation on Wednesday 3rd, and on Saturday 27th November we have a 3, 6 or 10k in aid of the Archie Foundation. Thanks for all your support it is really appreciated.

Stavengar Half Marathon

We have people in our club doing events all over the country/world now, last month Stuart and Carol ann did the Stavengar Half Marathon (well done you to both). This month Fred Dick is doing the Amsterdam Half Marathon, next Month Jason, Jennifer, Cammy and Stuart are doing the New York Marathon. Peterhead Jogscotland members are going global we are proud of you ALL!!
