MUMS ON THE RUN

Our Mums on the Run are going great, if your available on a Friday morning at 9am and can jog a 5k. Why not join our other Mums (and Dads-yes thats right we have a few Dads going along as well).

Buckie 10k

Well done to Stuart, Carol-Ann, Barry, Gillian, Jason and Stewart who successfully completed the Buckie 10K today.
Carol-Ann, Barry, Gillian, Jason and Stewart only joined Peterhead Jogscotland earlier this year, and it amazing what they have achieved in this short time. All are now training for the Fraserburgh Half Marathon in November.
Also well done to Stewart Wood and June Dickie who successfully completed the 13.2 miles of Great North Run today in aid of Kidney Research.
It great to see Peterhead Jogscotland members taking apart in events all over the UK, and should i say it all over the world. Watch this space!!

Health Fair

We had a fantastic time on last Wednesday at the Health Fair. Thanks to everyone who took part on the night and made it such a success. Special thanks to all at Living Waters Church who provided the teas, coffee and eats, and gave us the use of the church for this event.

Collieston Run

We had a great time a few weeks ago when 19 off us run to Collieston Harbour from the Lido Carpark in Peterhead which is exactly a half marathon distance. Mr Campbell has even time to go for a swim in the harbour when we finished!!! It was great that Vern from Kelowna in Canada who was able to join us for run, and i know he enjoyed as much as we did.

Health Fair 16th September

On Wed 16th September instead of jogging we are having our 3rd Health Fair from 6pm - 9pm. For your information we have lots going on including

Gait Analysis- if you need new trainers, Run4it trained specialists will make sure you have the correct trainers to suit your feet/posture, and better still you will get 15% discount on the night. Fraserburgh Half Marathon Training

We have had a lot of interest in the Fraserburgh Half Marathon Training we start on Friday night this week. Why not come along and give it a go we start with a 10k and will gradually increase the distance over the coming weeks. The training will take place on alternative Friday nights/ Saturday mornings to give as much people a chance to come along as possible. This week we leave from Catto Park at 6pm. The Fraserburgh Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 15th November and is a really nice flat route. I have done it twice and really enjoyed it. We will have entry forms available in the coming weeks, and will organise a bus if there is enough interest.
