Active Nation Peterhead Marinathon

We are really thrilled that Active Nation is using the Peterhead Marinathon on Monday night to promote their aims of encouraging the country to get more active. Since we started the Marinathon in 2007 our aim has been to promote Peterhead Jogscotland and to encourage our toon to get more active LETS GET ACTIVE IN THE BLOOTOON, this ties in great with the aims of ACTIVE NATION!! We are hoping to take lots of photographs with everyone wearing their Active Nation TShirts and kids in fancy dress during the event , therefore we are hoping to start the registration process on Friday night 7.30pm -8.30pm Catto Park Pavilion if the TShirts have arrived. Then on Monday afternoon at Catto Park Pavilion 2 to 5pm then at the Sailing Club 6.00-6.45pm on Monday night before the event starts, adults will be given a TShirt when they register, kids a water bottle. Maximum entry is 500 people remember kids in fancy dress go free, for everyone else minimum entry is £2 but as its in aid of Light Up Peterhead we are asking everyone to give generously to this appeal, to light up our toon at Christmas. The Fancy dress competition takes place this year in the Marquee at 6.15pm, kids will also be able to register for the Marinathon then, and places are guaranteed for kids in fancy dress this years theme is Super heroes or villians. The Peterhead Marinathon is sponsored by Peterhead Port Authority, Hughes Macdonald and Davidson, Tennants First, Peterhead Jogscotland, Falck Nutec, Style Council and Urban Kids. Check our website or blog tomorrow to see if the TShirts have arrived.
